Polycarbonate sheet is one of the many types of plastic sheet formed / created from polycarbonate plastic powder or seeds for various uses or applications.

 

2. What are the advantages of polycarbonate sheets?

Advantages in polycarbonate sheet is a good durability against weather, heat and cold, physical impact, ease of fabrication, and have many variations of its surface.

 

3. How many types of polycarbonate that PT. SBP Indonesia production?

PT. SBP Indonesia has two trademarks, namely SUNLOID and LUXXLITE. SUNLOID consists of two types, namely graphic polycarbonate and building polycarbonate. Buliding polycarbonate consist of two types namely wave polycarbonate and polycarbonate solid flat. LUXXLITE is wave polycarbonate whose size can be adjusted with wave metal Roof.

 

4. What is a graphic polycarbonate?

Graphic polycarbonate is a polycarbonate sheet designed for printing purposes commonly in need in one of the electronics or automotive parts, but it can also use its other purposes.

 

5. What is the purpose of the building polycarbonate?

Building polycarbonate is a polycarbonate sheet that is designed for outdoor purposes because the polycarbonate surface has been coated with anti-UV coating that is resistant to the weather.

 

6. Is LUXXLITE have anti-UV protection?

Yes, LUXXLITE also layered anti-UV protection.

 

7. Do polycarbonate can be formed or bent?

8. Is the polycarbonate heat-resistant?

9. What is the thickness of the polycarbonate produced by PT.SBP Indonesia?

Thickness produced by PT. SBP Indonesia is 0.1mm to 1.5mm for graphic polycarbonate, polycarbonate 0.8mm to 1.5mm to 2mm to 6mm wave and for solid flat polycarbonate sheet.

• Sealant type should be PU base, others than PU base may be not suitable with polycarbonate properties.

• butyl tape made bad effect to polycarbonate.

• Diameter on polycarbonate should be larger minimum 2mm from screw diameter.

• Rubber washer as used for reducing stress or concentration that came from screw fixing.

• Drilling process should be separate between drilling metal and drilling polycarbonate sheet, and diameter hole of polycarbonate should larger minimum 2mm to give space for polycarbonate expansion.

• Please make a marking when doing a sealant process to keep clean and good filling the sealant.

• Keep away the hazardous chemical from polycarbonate.
